Blastzone Mike Interview with Nick McGlashan of Deadliest Catch 4-20-13

Nick Mavar, deckhand on Discovery Channel's extreme fishing reality series “Deadliest Catch,” died June 13 of natural causes, the Bristol Bay Borough Police Department in Alaska told Variety. He was 59. Police found Mavar dead Thursday in a boat yard in Naknek, Ala.. His family has been notified.


Jeremy Bulloch, Star Wars actor, died on December 17, 2020 at the age of 75
The actor who played Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi died on December 17, 2020 at the age of 75. Bulloch died from complications of Parkinson's disease at St. George's Hospital in Tooting, London.

Once was at a little club in upper Michigan called the Tumble Inn and in Kalamazoo, MI with Iron Maiden (with Blaze Bailey), and someone else. Anyways Dio put on one hell of a show. Enjoy the interview. Ronnie died in 2010.

William Christopher was an American actor and comedian, best known for playing Private Lester Hummel on Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. from 1965 to 1968 and Father Francis John Patrick Mulcahy on the television series M*A*S*H from 1972 to 1983 and its spinoff AfterMASH from 1983 to 1985. According to his son John Christopher, the 84-year-old actor died as the result of non-small-cell carcinoma (lung cancer).



Carrie Frances Fisher was an American actress, screenwriter, author, and mental health advocate. She became a cultural icon for her role as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars films and reprised the role in the sequels. Fisher was also a published author, writing memoirs like Postcards from the Edge and Wishful Drinking, which she adapted into a screenplay starring Meryl Streep.

George Michael was a Grammy-winning English singer, songwriter, record producer, and pop icon. A leading pop star in the 1980s and 1990s, Michael is considered one of the best-selling artists of all time and one of the greatest singers. George Michael died of natural causes on December 25, 2016.

Alan Willis Thicke was a Canadian-American actor, songwriter, and game/talk show host. He was the father of singer Robin Thicke. Thicke was best known for playing Dr. Jason Seaver on the 1980s sitcom Growing Pains on ABC. In 2013, he was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame. Alan Thicke died from a ruptured aorta while playing hockey with his youngest son, Carter.



Darrell Lance Abbott, who went by the stage name Dimebag Darrell, was an American guitarist and co-founder of the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan. Many consider him to be one of the greatest metal guitarists ever. Dimebag Darrell, heavy metal guitarist in band Pantera/Damageplan is shot & killed while performing onstage in Columbus Ohio by crazed fan Nathan Gale August 20, 1966. Eddie Van Halen put his original guitar into Dimebag Darrell's casket to be buried with him.

Larry Richard Drake was an American actor. He was best known as Benny Stulwicz in L.A. Law, for which he won two Primetime Emmy Awards. On March 17, 2016, Drake was found dead in his Los Angeles home at the age of 67. Drake's manager, Steven Siebert, reported that he had some health problems in the months before his death. It was later reported that Drake had a rare form of blood cancer that caused his blood to thicken.

Keith Noel Emerson was an English keyboardist, songwriter, composer and record producer. He played keyboards in a number of bands before finding his first commercial success with the Nice in the late 1960s. Rock musician Keith Emerson, who was found dead last week, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Los Angeles coroner's office has ruled. Ed Winter, a spokesman for the county Medical Examiner's Office, confirmed the death was ruled a suicide.

Denise Katherine Matthews, known professionally as Vanity, was a Canadian singer, model, and actress. Known for her image as a sex symbol in the 1980s, she became an evangelist and renounced her career as Vanity in the 1990s. Vanity was replaced by Apollonia in the group, which was renamed Apollonia 6. She also took over Vanity's role in the film Purple Rain. The new trio recorded their only album, Apollonia 6, in 1984. Former front woman Vanity went on to have a solo music and acting career.

Abraham Vigoda was an American actor known for his portrayals of Salvatore Tessio in The Godfather and Phil Fish in both Barney Miller and Fish. His career as an actor began in 1947 performing with the American Theatre Wing and continued in Broadway productions throughout the 1960s and 1970s. On January 26, 2016, one month before his 95th birthday, Vigoda died in his sleep at his daughter Carol Fuchs's home in Woodland Park, New Jersey, of natural causes. He had gone there "to escape the hazards of a blizzard".

James Stewart Bain was a Scottish musician, best known for playing bass guitar in the bands Rainbow and Dio. He also worked with Kate Bush and Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott, co-writing on his solo albums. Bain died on 23 January 2016 while on the Def Leppard's "Hysteria on the High Seas" cruise from pneumonia caused by lung cancer at the age of 68.

Terence Dale "Buffin" Griffin (24 October 1948 – 17 January 2016) was an English drummer and a founding member of 1970s rock band Mott the Hoople. Dale "Buffin" Griffin, drummer and founding member of Mott the Hoople, passed away following a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Glenn Lewis Frey was an American singer, songwriter, actor, and founding member of the Eagles. A post on the band's website stated Frey had “succumbed to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.”

Daniel Francis Haggerty was an American actor who was best known for playing the title role in the film and television series The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams. In August 2015, Haggerty was diagnosed with spinal cancer after a tumor was discovered while he underwent back surgery. He died of spinal cancer on January 15, 2016, in Burbank, California.

Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman was a British actor and director who played a wide range of characters in film, television, and theater. In August 2015, Rickman had a minor stroke, which led to the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. He revealed that he had terminal cancer to only his closest confidants. On 14 January 2016, he died in London at the age of 69. His remains were cremated on 3 February 2016 in the West London Crematorium in Kensal Green.

Ian Fraser Kilmister, known as Lemmy, was a British singer, songwriter, actor, and musician. He was the founder, bassist, lead singer, and primary songwriter for the heavy metal band Motörhead, and its only continuous member. He was hospitalised with a lung infection in September 2015, after having breathing problems when performing onstage. On 28 December 2015, four days after his 70th birthday, Lemmy died at his Los Angeles apartment from prostate cancer, cardiac arrhythmia, and congestive heart failure.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was an American singer and reality TV star. The only child of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, she was often in the public eye due to her parents' fame and appearances on the reality show Being Bobby Brown. On January 31, 2015, Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home after ingesting numerous drugs and alcohol, which was similar to the fate of her mother. After being in a coma for nearly six months, Brown died from lobar pneumonia on July 26, at the age of 22.

At the young age of 51, the star of “The Sopranos” James Gandolfini died Wednesday after going into cardiac arrest in his hotel room in Rome, hospital officials confirmed. The shock of Gandolfini's sudden death from an apparent heart attack is still reverberating worldwide among his legions of fans.

Osborne was a second generation wrestler, the son of Tony Borne, and is best known as being the first wrestler to portray the character of Doink the Clown. Osborne was found dead on June 28, 2013, in the Plano, Texas apartment he lived in. He was 55 years old.

William Alvin Moody was an American professional wrestling manager and licensed funeral director. He is best known for his tenure with the World Wrestling Federation where he performed under the ring name and gimmick of Paul Bearer, manager and guiding light of The Undertaker. The Undertaker won the match but proceeded afterwards to pull the lever that sent cement into the crypt, completely burying Paul Bearer, suffocating him.

Jack Klugman was an American actor of stage, film, and television. He began his career in 1949 and started television and film work with roles in 12 Angry Men and Cry Terror!. During the 1960s, he guest-starred on numerous television series. Klugman died from prostate cancer at his home in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles on December 24, 2012, aged 90.

Philip Edward Hartman was a Canadian-American actor, comedian, screenwriter, graphic designer, and vocal performer. Born in Brantford, Ontario, Hartman moved to the United States with his family at age ten. In his early twenties, he worked as a roadie for the band Rockin Foo. Hartman was a revered comedic character actor and artist. In 1998, Hartman was murdered.

Eduardo Gory Guerrero Llanes was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his tenures in World Wrestling Entertainment and World Championship Wrestling. Eddie died in 2005 of an acute heart failure.

Michael Lee Alfonso was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his appearances with the American professional wrestling promotions Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship. He passed away at 42.
